ITS A......?

Well, if you have been following my last post I shared with everyone that my daughter and her sweet husband are expecting their first baby in April. We had a fun gender reveal party tonight with family and friends and WOW was it fun!! If you are expecting, I highly recommend doing this. Thanks Pinterest!

I wanted to do something besides the traditional pink and blue and since the gender was a surprise for all of us I went with yellow.

What is it going to be??

Yep....ITS A BOY!
CARTER BLAKE...coming in early April!

We are so excited for this little blessing and he will be so loved by so many!

This is my favorite picture taken right before the reveal..

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb"
(Psalm 139:13)
God is great!!

Have a beautiful weekend!!

Family Sign and More Family

Hey friends!
Hope your Sunday was filled with blessings and God's word.

I have this old glass door that has moved around my living room several times but needed a little something added to it. It was a little...well..boring.

I pulled out the vinyl and the cricut and typed out one of my favorite words..FAMILY! Added it to the glass (very carefully) and Voila!
A new look for a little money.

Its amazing what a small change can make.
I have always wanted some white shutters so when I found those at a friends barn I grabbed them and set them in my windows. I am loving them so far.

Speaking of "family"...
I haven't shared this on my blog yet but wanted you all to know that in about six months I will become a HONEY (grandma)!!
We are extremely excited and welcome this blessing with much anticipation.
I wanted to wait and make sure she passed the first trimester before sharing with everyone. We will having a gender reveal party on Friday to find out what she is having so I am preparing a cute little party for family that I will share with all of you. I would appreciate all your prayers for a healthy and safe pregnancy for my baby girl (and her hubby).

Thanks for coming by today and for your sweet comments. I always appreciate them all.
Have a blessed week!

A Small Fall Porch

Fall is definately in the air this evening in Texas..finally! We are expected to wake up with temps in the low 50's. That's pretty chilly for us.

Last week I did a little fall decorating on the porch. I don't live in a large house or have a big porch but added a few fall touches in my small space.

I found four of these great pumpkins at Goodwill for $2.99 ea.

My sis in law gave me the old black mailbox she found on a recent junking trip.

Dollar store flowers, a little moss and burlap fill this basket for the door.

Happy Fall!!
Looking forward to getting a little bundled up in the morning as we head out the door for church.
Hoping your Sunday is filled with many blessings my friends!

Pinterest Inspired Project

Do you Pinterest?

I think you would have to be hiding under a rock for awhile if you haven't heard of this addicting, fun and creative site. I have been inspired and awed by so many of your projects!
You can check out my Pinterest boards here.

One of my very favorite projects is this adorable door with a light fixture and shelves.

As soon as I saw this I knew I wanted this in my bedroom.

I used a door I already had in the garage.

The light fixture (purchased at Lowe's) was wired for a wall mount so hubby and I had to convert it to a plug in. After talking to the guy at Lowes we decided to use a extension cord we already had (saving money). We cut it and joined the wires, covered with those small orange caps and some electrical tape and plugged it in...IT WORKED!
We drilled a small hole in the door to run the wire through and attached it to the door with some screws. That was it!
(sorry no pics of the process but you get the idea..right?)

Here it is all finished..

I added a shelf and accessories I already had..bringing the cost to $25.
(for the light fixture of course)

Yep, I love how it turned out!!

Have you been inspired by Pinterest projects? Are you addicted to the creative ideas?
Hi, my name is Tiffani and I'm addicted to Pinterest...the first step is admitting it right??
