Side Table Transformation

I am getting so excited for the upcoming Barn Sale!
I have been painting and glueing and living in grungy clothes for days it seems like.
I love every minute of it and can't wait to see so many familiar faces and meet some new ones. I hope you get a chance to make it out!

While going through my craft drawer digging for ribbon and knobs I found a sample pot of the ASCP they sent me with my order. The color is Country Grey and I started thinking what can I paint with this??
Then it hit me, a side table that had been waiting on a little lovin'. Don't you love this paint?
A little goes a long way. I dilluted mine with a little water and I got two tables painted..WOW!

Here is what she looked like before...

And here she is after....

I left the top its original color and just dry brushed the rest and finished with wax

I love how pretty and french she looks sitting in this corner.
I had enough to do another taller table for the other end and for no money I have a whole new look for the room!
Gotta love free!

We get so much sun coming in these windows during the day. I am trying to decide on curtains and have since hung the bamboo shades in all three windows. I love the texture they add to the room!

Have you transformed anything lately? Its amazing what a little paint will do for something!

Have a beautiful day!!

  2. your table looks wonderful. I, too, have been working on a table for my booth. It's taken me three days and I finished it today except for putting the hardware back on. I love the way it turned out. Happy White Wednesday

  5. Great transformation! I love seeing before and afters. That's such a cute little table and you gave it a lot more style! I've painted several furniture pieces in my home too and never regret it. It's such a quick fix to something that was boring.
