An Old Soap Box

Hope your all having a great hump day!

I have had this old box for several years sitting around.
It has held magazines, plants on the back porch and even shoes.
I picked up a couple sets of old casters at an estate sale several months back and they have sat in the garage waiting to be used on a project.
This was the project.
Hubby attached them to this old soap box with screws and voila.

Of course I couldn't leave it like this so I added some white paint by drybrushing it on the box.
You can actually see the Soap logo better.
We found a beautiful plant at Home Depot last week and added it to the box and set it in a corner that needed a little something. It's perfect because its right next to a window and can get plenty of filtered light.

I big change for just a little change...The plant was $10 and the casters were $2 for the set.
Not bad for $12

Have a blessed day!!

  1. This looks great! I love how it turned out!

  2. Love it! I'm way attracted to things on casters these days!

  3. Thanks for the great idea on the planter box. I a lot of plants and could use some more containers. With thisbeing on casters will make moving easier. Tanks for sharing.
