Dry Erase and Memory Board

I hope you have all had a wonderful week. It has flown by here and I can't believe school will be over in a week! I can't wait! My older two are always gone during the summer with camps and school but my youngest is still home. It will be so nice to make our own schedule and not have to be anywhere everyday.

I love the summer!

I haven't had a lot of time lately to do many projects. With the house on the market and work picking up for me again, my days have been pretty full.

I had a couple things left that I made for a recent show and wanted to share them with you.

The first is a dry erase board.
I started by using a frame I already had and covered the existing board with burlap
I then put it back together and used some pretty vinyl letters to add a "TO DO" list
It's now ready for your grocery list, errands, etc..
You can use a dry erase marker or a chalk pen to write and erase!

Wouldn't this look pretty in a kitchen or mudroom?

Another old frame I turned into a note board or picture holder
I started at the top of the frame (on the back) and used a staple gun to attach jute
I made a zig zag pattern going from one side to the other until I reached the bottom
That's it..hang pictures and enjoy!

Both of these items are for sale so if you are interested please leave me a comment and I will get back with you.

Hope you have a wonderful Memorial weekend!

  1. Hey Tiff! These look great! I'm so sorry I didn't get to come last weekend. We had unexpected company (grandparents) come by and it wasn't cool for me to leave. I need to come see your house anyway before you sell it! Can't believe that's not happened yet (me coming over, not the selling part!)

By chance, do you have any kind of night stand/book shelf kind of furniture? I'm in need of a 3ft or smaller piece to put between my girls' bed...
