Napkin Pillows

I'm sorry I have been lacking in posts and ideas lately..I have had my share of busyness around here wrapping up the school year, wedding stuff, and work, work, work!!
We have had no bites or lookers on our home yet but know that God will sell it in his time..not mine.
No worries..

This morning I hung some beautiful curtains for a client and then came home and was inspired to make something fun! Don't you have to be in the mood for this stuff?? Please say I'm not alone on this...
Anywho..I pulled out some old pillows and napkins that had not sold in my last sale and went to town sewing.

I love working with napkins, they are so easy to convert into pillows

Place right sides together and sew three sides leaving the fourth side open for stuffing in the pillow

My pillow was an odd size so instead of cutting off the excess fabric I sewed it and folded it over the front
I made a small stitch on each corner to hold down the cuff and tied a bow for a little fun!

I love it!! These napkins were found at Goodwill awhile back and now I am sooo glad I didn't get rid of them!

Aren't they sweet??

Of course, as fast as I change my mind they just may turn up in my November sale..

Have you made napkins pillows? I would love to know..Talk to me..
Have a beautiful day!

I am linking up with DIY Design for a Linky Party

  3. I have made placemat pillows before. The quilted ones make nice pillows. Yours turned out so pretty and I love the ribbon you placed on them and yes you have to be in the mood to sew. I have a basket full of mending I need to do and have yet to be in the "mood" to do it. lol

  4. Yeah! Those would be perfect in that November sale...like the one in Gonzales on November 5th? The one under the big show barn with vendors coming from all over Texas? That's the show you're talking about, right?! Cuz we sure are counting on you to apply for our November Barn Sale. Primo spots are already being spoken for. Don't miss out on the best of the best. Get yer' application in, girl! Tracy
